DRUMMING FOR BUBNY - ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM
19 June
During the first several months of 2016, the Memorial of Silence project team has been working to secure financing for the conversion of Bubny station into a memorial. Our fall cultural program will include a new presentation of the future project and timeline for its realization.
The summer-fall program will be made public on 26 June, when Bubny station will be an alternative stage on the route between United Islands of Prague and the new Metronome Festival at the "Výstaviště" fairgrounds.
Our stage will be all about drumming!
The public rehearsal for our fall event, when we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first transport to leave Prague, will take place all Sunday afternoon under the direction of Miloš Vacík and Jaroslav Kořán.
Other planned events this summer and fall include a concert by The Tap Tap, an exhibition on the memory of the city,
and the Farm in the Cave theater festival– all of it climaxing with this year's international DRUMMING FOR BUBNY
on 16 October, when we will also be opening two exhibitions. More information will be available on our website in the coming days.
